Eat Your Heart Out Jack Bauer.

Things can go wrong no matter how well you plan. It’s how you deal with them when they do that defines who you are. So when after weeks of meticulous planning and preparation, a supplier let us down on a project that just happened to be for the arrival of the Prince of Wales, we had two options – either leave the country or find a solution.

Now the idea of joining Julian Assange and Edward Snowden really didn’t appeal to us so we dispatched one of our brave and intrepid missionaries on a mission of her own. Her Mission – track down and recover the materials that had been removed by the supplier that had let us down and then dash back across the City to The Mission Control.

With the clock ticking and only 12 hours before security locked the area down, we initiated our fall back plan. We called in some favours and had a trusted supplier jump our project to the top of their production schedule. With time running out, the assets arrived on site and our own team set about helping to install all of the materials ahead of the arrival of H.R.H., The Prince of Wales to open the new Prince’s Trust Centre in Belfast so that the event went without a hitch.

Now that really was a Mission Accomplished!
